oh no! hope you're feeling better. c's preschool class has been battling hand/foot/mouth and the stomach flu (we luckily(?) only got the latter). icky icky icky. and i LOVE the sherlock series too. somehow the fact that season 2 was on escaped me, so i need to see if i can watch it online. the first season was so. much. fun. ;)

Hope you're already feeling better soon! I got one of those crud colds while pg with Elena and it sucked. Made me really not feel sorry for others complaining about colds with their wealth of mind numbing, sleep inducing, mucus busting meds! So yea no meds = badass. I remember I ate a ton of hot peppers (ignoring the inevitable heartburn) just to breathe again! (it was worth it).

Also Sherlock was so so good. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. OMG it is cast perfectly!! Did you not love the shot of crazy Moriarty's face on the roof after..well, I won't spoil it for everyone. I am also trying not to be too crazy about it but yea it rocked.

Well, everyone (including Steve) was gone on Friday night ... so I managed to rewatch Reichenbach AND Season 1, Episode 1. So I'm officially obsessed, but pretending not to be obsessed. It's just a fun television show, whatever, la la la la dee da. I'm most certainly NOT dying to see the uncut versions with commentary. No way, that would be nuts.

Sorry you are feeling cruddy. I don't think most cold & flu medications are much chop anyway. Hmm, I keep hearing good things about this Sherlock. Will add to my list of required viewing! This knit, being mostly cotton, was pretty easy to work with. The rayon knits I've been sewing with are much more squirrely and challenging. That said, this pattern calls for a lot of stretching AND sewing, at once, and that is a challenge! I've now trained my brother to help me pin the elastic before starting. It requires more than two hands!

We are enjoying the same weather, and is it ever beautiful! We went away for three days and came back to veggie plants that are twice the size! It's so exciting! As for the greens I heard you can blanch and freeze them for later use. Good luck with the potty training. Lots of pants free time outside helped us, good thing the weathers nice :)

Thanks! I had my colors "done" when I was a teenager, and I was found to be a "spring," with this sort of color being one of my best. But in real life, I tend to favor darker, more "autumn" tones. I may have to bring more beautiful spring tones back into my wardrobe, though!
